Climate Whistleblowers (CW) is looking for a 6-month intern to support its operations.

Context: Climate Whistleblowers is an NGO based in Paris that protects individuals who expose wrongdoings that worsen the climate crisis and helps them have a greater impact. This involves providing support in terms of security, legal proceedings, as well as investigations and working with media to produce impactful reports, articles, or videos.

Working closely with the salaried team, you will participate in investigative actions, legal assistance for whistleblowers, communication and the development of fundraising strategies. Under the supervision of CW’s co-directors and project manager, you will manage the following missions:

  • Receiving and following up on whistleblower files: processing of documents, participating in calls and contributing to the development of appropriate investigative and legal strategies.
  • Assisting with investigative work: analysing documents submitted by whistleblowers, conducting OSINT research, and drafting memos to support investigations.
  • Monitoring climate-related news and updates related to ongoing cases.
  • Supporting communication efforts under the guidance of the communication officer, including writing and publishing on CW’s socials.
  • Assisting with fundraising activities: contributing to grant applications and project proposals, researching potential donors, reporting to funders.

Profile sought:

  • Master’s student in law / political and social science / journalism
  • Fluent English (C1 level)
  • Knowledge of the world of climate change and interest in the issue of global warming appreciated
  • Qualities: versatility, curiosity, autonomy

  • Financial conditions: 700€/month
